Complete a milestone

Last reviewed: 18 Aug 2026Article 3 of 6

A milestone in Tiggie is not a box you tick — it is an activity you do together, one level at a time. You watch a short demonstration, try it with your child, record the attempt, then tell Tiggie how it went.

Before you begin

Pick a moment when your child is settled and unhurried — an attempt goes better when it feels like play rather than a test. Watch the activity video through once yourself before you start, so you are not reading instructions while your child waits.

Steps to complete a milestone

Open the Tiggie app and go to the Milestones or Development Progress tab.

Select the milestone you want to work on.

Tap Get Started on the current level, watch the video, then tap Record Attempt to begin.

End the attempt when you are done, then answer the feedback question to complete it.

Tip:

The feedback question is what moves the milestone along, so answer it honestly — including when an attempt did not go well. An attempt that did not work is useful information, not a failure.

Understanding the results

Work through the milestones Tiggie recommends rather than picking from the whole library. Each completed attempt feeds back into what gets suggested next, so the recommendations stay in step with where your child actually is.
