Begin with Tiggie

Last reviewed: 18 Aug 2026Article 1 of 6

Tiggie works best when you set it up in order — your child’s profile first, then the people around them, then the questionnaire that teaches Tiggie what to recommend. You can stop after any step and pick up where you left off.

Before you begin

Download the Tiggie app and have your child’s details to hand — their name, date of birth and gender. Tiggie uses all three to work out which milestones to recommend, so it is worth getting them right. You can change them later from your child’s profile.

The five steps

Create your child’s profile. Set your child up in the app so Tiggie can personalise the experience around them.

Invite your circle of support. Add the caregivers, educators and therapists involved in your child’s development, so everyone stays aligned on the same progress.

Complete the questionnaire. Answer a short assessment. This is what tells Tiggie where your child is developmentally today.

Explore milestones. Browse the milestone library and look through the activities recommended for your child’s goals.

Practise and track progress. Do the activities at home, record each attempt, and use Tiggie Chat whenever you want guidance.

Tip:

The app walks you through the first three steps on a single screen once you have signed up. If you are not ready to invite anyone yet, choose skip for now — your circle of support can be added at any point afterwards.

Understanding the results

Once the questionnaire is complete, Tiggie recommends milestones suited to your child’s stage rather than showing you the whole library at once. Start with what is recommended — the list adapts as you record attempts and your child progresses.
